Leap S01 is the first intelligent pure electric vehicle launched by Leap Auto. It was officially launched in Beijing Water Square on January 3, 2019. The model features high cost performance and extreme experience. Leap S01 adopts two-door coupe style, yacht suspension roof design, simple sports style makes the whole vehicle wind resistance coefficient as low as 0.29. The self-developed integrated electric drive assembly with battery pack and lightweight body technology can accelerate 100 km in 6.9 seconds, and 0-50 km in 2.6 seconds.
The model has an efficient power battery system and NEDC range ≥305/380 km. Equipped with the "biological key system" activated by finger vein recognition unlock + face recognition and leading intelligent interconnection applications, it can realize the connection between the car terminal, mobile terminal and cloud terminal. Advanced ADAS system, including adaptive cruise, lane keeping, face recognition, fatigue driving warning, intelligent automatic parking and other intelligent driver assistance functions. Leap S01 has L2.5 level intelligent assist driving capability, which can be unlocked through OTA upgrade later.
Leap S01 carries the world's first "eight-in-one" integrated electric drive assembly "Heracles" (Heracles, the god of strength in Greek mythology) independently developed, achieving a maximum power of 125kW and a maximum torque of 250N·m. The technical parameters are comparable to BMW I3 motor. The whole system set drive motor, controller, reducer trinity, the overall weight of only 91kg, under the premise of ensuring the same performance, weight reduction by 30%, volume reduction by 40%, its lightweight design to improve vehicle performance. The energy consumption of the vehicle is only 11.9kWh.
